Secret Number 2: It's Business, Not Personal

Another BIG mistake most people make is they do not think rationally.

They fall in love with a product that they feel is great, and they will go all out to promote it for months and even years. They have a personal relationship with the product, and they speak like they are the product creator.
Sometimes they make some money with this kind of attitude. But what if they don't?
For me, it's pretty easy to explain this silly behavior:

• Guru-worship - May the guy who made the product is your "guru" or mentor?
• Sense of obligation - You feel like more people should know about this miracle product?
• Laziness - Maybe you just didn't spend time finding out the facts?

You will see people go all out to defend their favorite product in forums.
But why bother really? If a product is not making money for you as a ClickBank affiliate, then find other products that will. That's what I mean by "it's not personal, it's just business!"
The Super Affiliates are all about business. You can be their best friend, but if your product does not make them money don't hope that they are going to help you promote it.

Time is money, and opportunity cost is the greatest cost of them all. A super affiliate knows that his time can be spent promoting better products that sell, and at the end of the day he will make more money that most other ClickBank affiliates.
That's what I am asking you to do.
Even if you personally love a product, it does not mean that other people will love it. Try promoting a product for 4-6 weeks, and if you find that it's difficult to make sales for it, remove it from your website. Drop it. Move on.
Fact: A great product is only about 15% of what it takes to make an affiliate sale.
Here are the other important factors:

Key Factors of An Affiliate Sale
•Product Quality
•Sales Page
•Sales Process
•Pricing Structure
•Brand / Recognition
•Misc

So don't get too hung about a great product. If it does not have a great sales page that the quality will not matter because no one will know how good it is until they buy -IF they buy.
There are literally thousands of other products you can promote. Why stick with the losers when you can be with the winners?
